Terms of Service -
•Color Prints guarantees prints will not be defective in accordance with industry standards. If a card is found to be defective you may contact us for evaluation of your project. If found to be defective and beyond the terms of service for reasonable standards we will facilitate the Return Merchandise process for replacement, reprint or refund (shipping and handling included).

•Finished size of business cards is 2.0 x 3.5 inches plus or minus 0.0635-inch in any direction. Bleed dimensions are 2.127 x 3.627 inches. Safe-zone area is 1.873 x 3.373 inches. What this means in non-printer's terms is that your background should be 2.127 x 3.627 inches, but the text on the business card should be placed at least 0.127-inch away from any full-bleed edge.

•Finished size of postcards is 4 x 6 inches plus or minus 0.0625-inch in any direction. Bleed dimensions are 4.25 x 6.25 inches. Safe-zone area is 3.75 x 5.75 inches. What this means in non-printer's terms is that your background should be 4.25 x 6.25 inches, but the text on the postcard should be placed at least 0.125-inch away from any full-bleed edge.

•Printing is done on 12pt - 14pt card stock, clay-coated on either one or both sides, depending on the type of card being printed. CMYK Process color is applied at 175-line to 200-line screen. High-gloss U/V finish coat is applied over printing if requested.

Details Concerning Color Reproduction
•Color fidelity warranted by Color Prints is consistent with industry standards for "pleasing color." We offer no guarantee of "match-print" or "match-product" color fidelity. Color Prints cannot prevent slight color drift throughout an order as it is impossible to calibrate for every circumstance; monitor, print condition, paper fluctuation or otherwise. We cannot guarantee color will match the preview or proof as it appears on customers monitor.

Color Prints is a print reseller and reserves the rights to vary package pricing and specifications due to policies and specifications of our suppliers. All earnest efforts are made to maintain standards of quality and price. We reserves the right to outsource print production to various professional print production facilities that may or may not utilize Gang-Run Printing. This refers to the specialization in supplying customers with affordable four-color printing. Utilizing this method known as "Gang-Running", this approach combines your short-run jobs with others having similar requirements. This allows the initial production costs to be spread out over several jobs, greatly reducing the make-ready charges for each customer. All work is carried out by skilled professionals on state-of-the-art equipment to assure you quality work at affordable prices. We accept no responsibility for color variations between submitted or approved files and the final printed piece. Color fidelity is not warranted by Color Prints unless it is beyond the bounds of what we determine to be inconsistent with industry standards for "pleasing color." While we strive for accurate reproduction, we offers no guarantee of "match-print" or "match-product" color fidelity. Color Prints cannot prevent color drift throughout an order. Because it is impossible to calibrate for every circumstance, monitor, print condition, paper fluctuation or otherwise, we cannot guarantee color will match the preview or proof as approved within reason.

Proofing
The consumer has the option to purchase a full-color print proof that will be printed 1 sided on business card size print for a $35 fee for each time you submit new artwork and select this option. Proofs will be an actual short run print of your job and will reflect a close proximity of final finished job. It should be noted that consideration for color shifts that is inherent with short run printing is understood. We we will not take responsibility for any copy or design errors committed that have been approved to print by you. This includes but is not limited to any wrong dates, spelling, grammar, or any other errors once the file(s) are submitted or approved by customer upon design completion. It is strongly advised that you check your proof carefully. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that all materials submitted for printing comply with any and all applicable copyright laws for reproduction.

Creative Work:
All creative work, complete, drafts or otherwise remain the intellectual property of Color Prints. Color Prints designs and develops creative comps for the benefit of our clients for the sole purpose of utilizing our print services. Under no circumstance will files created or re-created by Color Prints be used or released without payment above and independent of printing fees. In the event a buyer wishes to purchase creative files, designs or ideas created by Color Prints, pricing will be determined on a per issue basis. No design or derivation of ideas may be used without permission or additional compensation to Color Prints. All creative work done by Color Prints falls under the guidelines and copyright ownership as outlined but not limited to laws regarding Intellectual Property.

Payment Terms
BUYER shall make payment in full for the goods at the rate as quoted in the invoice at the time when the order is placed.

BUYER agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold COLOR PRINTS harmless from any claim, demand, losses, expenses, attorneys fees, and other obligations incurred by the dealer which arise out of BUYER's acts or omissions with respect to any goods sold by dealer to BUYER or with respect to any other matter or transaction between the parties or which arise out of BUYER's violation of any law.

The BUYER warrants that the subject matter to be printed is not copyrighted or used without permission by a third party. The BUYER also recognizes that because subject matter does not have to bear a copyright notice in order to be protected by copyright law, absence of such notice does not necessarily assure a right to reproduce. The BUYER further warrants that no copyright notice has been removed from any material used in preparing the subject matter for reproduction. To support these warranties, the BUYER agrees to indemnify and hold the supplier harmless for all liability, damages, and attorney fees that may be incurred in any legal action connected with copyright infringement involving the work produced or provided.
